Help

For help directly related to your studies, the tutors for enrolled students are available via email, Web and telephone. Problems or questions relating to IT or library access can be found though one or more of the following means:

Staffed desks are located in both the Computer Centre and the Arts and Social Sciences Library. The IT help desk is the first point of contact for enquiries on computing.

If you are already a registered TLHP student and do not intend to access your Bristol email account (e.g. xx1234@bristol.ac.uk) directly, it is important that you have this REDIRECTED to the email address you use regularly.  You can apply to have mail sent to your Bristol email address redirected to an external email account using the form below. Before you request a redirection, you must be aware of the potential disadvantages of doing so which are listed on the application form:

If you have any questions about using library facilities or services or if you would like help with finding information:

  • Each branch library (details) has an Enquiry Point where you can take your enquiries, though any member of the library staff will be pleased to help you.
  • There are also contact details for general and IT enquiries.
  • Subject enquiries should be addressed to your Subject Contact in the library.
  • These Information Services Web pages may provide the information you require. A Site Index is available. Another option is to use the 'Search this site' option at the top of this page.
  • You will also find a range of helpful handouts and guides displayed in each branch library.
